2026 - 2027 Term

I am a third-year doctoral student in Earth & Atmospheric Sciences, where my research focuses on therapeutic spaces and healing environments in healthcare settings. I moved to Edmonton in 2021 to pursue graduate studies. Since then, the University of Alberta has become my second home, where I also sought my Master of Education degree from the Faculty of Education in 2023.

Over the past four years, I have built connections across faculties, cultural associations, governance spaces, and student communities. I bring years of student leadership experience and have held several positions. My work has focused on strengthening and advancing core student services and initiatives, including the Campus Food Bank; mental health and well-being; GSA childcare grants; travel grants; emergency bursaries; the U-Pass program; the Graduate Student Assistance Program; the GSA Health and Dental Plan; and representing graduate students on more than 20 university committees and working groups.

I believe in leadership that is relational. It is about listening carefully, building trust intentionally, and delivering results responsibly. I want the GSA to be decisive, transparent, sustainable, and focused on real results from day one.
