General Elections
Voting in the 2024 GSA General Election closed at 10:00 AM (MST) on Thursday, 29 February 2024. Accordingly, the deadline to lodge a complaint for the general election was 11:00 AM (MST) on 1 March 2024.
As outlined in GSA Bylaw and Policy, “the candidate(s) with the highest number(s) of votes will be successful, in accord with the number of positions available” (Section I.POL.12.5.b).
Voting in the 2024 GSA Re-Election for Vice President Student Life closed at 10:00 AM (MST) on Thursday, 21 March 2024. Similarly, for the re-election, the results become official once any complaints are resolved. The deadline to lodge a complaint for this re-election was 11:00 AM (MST) on 22 March 2024.
Following the release of the provisional results for the GSA VP External By-Election on Thursday, September 12th, 2024, no complaints have been lodged with the CRO or DRO (I.POL.11.3) in the past 24 hours.
As with all elections, the candidates with the highest number of votes in each race will be deemed successful, in accordance with the number of positions available.

2024 Campus Food Bank Referendum Questions
Do you support an $8.00 fee per student per year to fund the Campus Food Bank
(CFB) subject to the preceding conditions?
- Both full-time and part-time students will be assessed $3 per Fall/Winter semesters and $1
per Spring/Summer semesters. Campus Saint Jean and off-campus graduate students will be
included in the fee assessment. - The fee will be adjusted annually, indexed to CPI, and will be taken to the graduate student
body for re-approval every five years. - This will be a non-opt-out fee.

Indigenous Graduate Students’ Association (IGSA) Referendum Questions
- The Dedicated Fee will be assessed from non-Indigenous full-time and part-time graduate
students, $1.50 will be collected per Fall/Winter semesters, $0.75 per Spring/Summer
semesters. Campus St. Jean and off-campus graduate students are subject to the fee. - There is no opt-out option for non-Indigenous students.
- The fee will increase annually to match CPI.
