Strong supervision is one of the most important parts of your graduate journey. To support you, the GSA invites you to an Academic Supervision Q&A Workshop, hosted by Chen Okafor, your GSA VP Academic.

This session is designed to give graduate students practical tools and insights into:

• Understanding your rights and responsibilities as outlined in university policy
• What to expect from your supervisor and department
• Common challenges in the student–supervisor relationship and strategies to address them
• Scenario-based discussions with real examples
• A Q&A with university experts from FGPS and ISVS, who will be available to share their guidance

This is your opportunity to ask questions, clarify expectations, and leave with resources that can help you build a positive, productive supervisory relationship.
