In partnership with Friends Across Campus, this event is all about breaking the ice, starting conversations, and expanding your grad student network. Whether you’re new to the U of A or returning for another year, Speed Friending is a great way to:

• Meet people outside your department
• Share experiences and tips about grad life
• Build friendships and community early in the term

No pressure, no awkward silences—just quick rounds of conversation with a variety of students, followed by open mingling.
