In observance of World Mental Health Day on October 10, the Graduate Students’ Association is proud to publish our latest report titled “Under Pressure: Mental Health Realities.” This report delves into the mental health challenges faced by graduate students, highlighting both the pressures encountered and the barriers in accessing mental health support.
We recognize that mental health is a crucial part of our academic and personal well-being, and the findings in this report are a call to action. We must continue advocating for accessible and effective mental health resources for every member of our community.
My fellow graduate students, as we continue to face the evolving challenges of our academic and personal lives, it’s important to shed light on one critical issue: mental health and the accessibility of services. Our latest report, “Under Pressure: Mental Health Realities,” outlines the growing pressures many of us face and the barriers to accessing much-needed support. This report is not just a call to recognize these challenges, but a reminder that we must prioritize mental well-being and ensure that accessible resources are in place for everyone in our community. Your mental health matters, and we are committed to making a difference.
From the President’s Desk, Muhammad Haseeb Arshad (2024-2025)
We invite everyone to read the full report and join us in fostering a supportive environment for graduate students, where mental health is prioritized and resources are accessible to all.
